SQUID OVERLORDS and THE LION HEART

The Lion Heart is a self-produced, genre-blending SPURCORE duo led by front woman/ guitarist / singer Lion, and drummer Kendo. Based in Los Angeles CA, the band fuses Spaghetti Western, desert rock, and punk, that they’ve coined as ‘SPURCORE.’ Now touring their third studio album 'When All Breaks.' Recently Headlining venues such as The Echo in Los Angeles CA. They’ve been featured on shows such as Jam In The Van, and are currently sponsored by Guild Guitars. Lion plays Guilds acoustic Baritone BT-240E, along with their Polara Kim Thayil signature model in all black. The Lion Heart delivers a heavy, cinematic soundscape, layered with grit and distortion, giving them a bold sound that represents the violent beauty of the West.

Squid Overlords is a Los Angeles-based instrumental trio pushing surf music into uncharted waters. Blending classic surf guitar with progressive rock, psychedelic textures, cinematic soundscapes, and adventurous improvisation, the band delivers a live experience that's both hypnotic and high-energy.

Inspired by artists ranging from Dick Dale and The Ventures to King Crimson, Rush, and modern instrumental rock, Squid Overlords create music that is familiar enough to groove to yet unpredictable enough to keep audiences engaged from the first note to the last.
